Having graduated as a surveyor in the 90’s, I have been involved in setting up and managing several Estate and Investment agencies over the years. However, my aim as CEO and Managing Director is to make sure that all our buyers and sellers have a great experience during their transaction and above all, feel that they are in safe hands.

I was born and bred property and although youthful in looks, I have more than a decades experience in property sales and management which is useful in guiding both sellers and buyers in achieving their ultimate goal. The best thing about the property business is the variety of people that I meet on a daily basis.

It is fair to say, I have an absolute passion for property!! Graduating from Kingston upon Thames, University, with a degree in surveying, I have spent the last twenty years successfully selling every type of property imaginable. The auction avenue offers all sorts of gems, from old water towers, disused railway stations to your more straight forward private residence. With so much on offer its impossible to not be passionate about one’s work. I strive to provide every client with the same outstanding service and results, however big or small the lot.

I’ve always been a bit of an entrepreneur. As a child I raised pocket money washing cars and collecting rain water to sell to the neighbours for their gardening. I’m now known for my TV exposure with the likes of ‘Bargain Hunt’ and ‘Flog It,’ but growing recognition of my antique expertise served to convince me that was the time to set up my own business – and this was when Auctioneers and Valuers was born. Since then my business has gone from strength to strength but I was drawn to Connect UK Auctions as their ideas and motivation to offer Connect Realtime was admirable. Their auctions offer something no other can and I am excited to be a part of that.
Marketing
Property provides so much opportunity and auctions provide even more. My younger self was always airport based so I took a gamble when delving into property admin and then management. It was the best risk I’ve ever taken and it certainly paid off. Moving over to auctions has proved every day is different and the stories behind each individual’s property journeys has me continuously gripped. After almost 5 years I look forward too many more.
Acquisitions
Growing up I was surrounded by property development from a young age. My family (on my Mum’s side) were property developers, so my exposure to sweeping up and ‘playing builders’ was vast. Needless to say, my first job was within estate agency. Such was my appreciation for property it seemed the logical path to tread. The property path has lead me to work in most angles of property development, land development and sales in the UK and abroad.
Auction Consultant
After numerous jobs in customer services and sales I was introduced to property.I have spent the last seven years working my way up from Administrator to Auction Consultant, fully managing hundreds of properties day to day whilst liaising with potential buyers. If anyone is in property, they know that each day is never the same and the diversity is something that keeps me motivated. Auctions are an extremely established world and Connect UK Auctions have great potential so with them I will grow.

After working in mixture of jobs including marketing, retail and sales, I have found myself back in property where I take great pride in providing a top notch and beneficial service to all of our clients. Day to day I undertake auction property viewings and valuations. I am always happy to help and give advice to our buyers and sellers to help them prepare their property journey and secure the right outcome for them.
